Accessibility Statement

This statement applies to the website www.heh.de and to the digital services and booking options offered on it.

We want all guests to be able to use our website easily and on equal terms.

1. Service provider

Bayerstraße 31 Betriebs GmbH
Lindwurmstraße 39
80337 Munich
Germany
Phone: +49 (0) 89 599939 11
Email: info@heh.de

2. Description of the service

On www.heh.de you’ll find everything about Hotel Europäischer Hof, right next to Munich Central Station (Bayerstraße 31, 80335 Munich): rooms, breakfast, location and getting here, parking, photos and frequently asked questions. Click “Book now” to book your room directly online.

This is how online booking works:

  • You choose your travel dates and the number of guests.
  • You choose your room and rate and see the total price before you complete the booking.
  • You enter your contact details, choose a payment method and confirm your booking.
  • You receive a booking confirmation by email.
  • On arrival, you check in at reception – it is open around the clock.

The booking process is technically operated by an external service provider. We work together with this provider to meet the accessibility requirements. You can find out how far they are currently met in sections 4 and 5.

If you can’t use the website or the booking process, or can only use them to a limited extent, write to us at info@heh.de. We’ll help you with your booking and send you information in a format that is accessible to you.

3. Legal basis and target standard

Under the German Accessibility Strengthening Act (Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz, BFSG), we are required to make our digital services accessible. The BFSG implements EU Directive 2019/882 (European Accessibility Act) in German law.

As our technical standard, we follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at conformance level AA. This goes beyond WCAG 2.1 AA, the version that is currently formally binding.

4. Compliance status

This website is partially compliant with the requirements mentioned above.

This assessment is based on an external audit carried out on 5 October 2026 using Google PageSpeed Insights, WAVE and Screaming Frog. We are implementing the findings step by step.

5. Non-accessible content

The following content is not yet fully accessible:

Topic Description Status
Heading structure Some headings are empty or used incorrectly. This makes navigation and understanding harder, especially with screen readers. In progress
Colour contrast Some texts have too little contrast and are therefore hard to read. In progress
Alternative text for images 128 images have no alternative text. Their content and the target of linked images cannot be adequately read by screen readers. In progress
Form fields Not all form fields are clearly labelled and correctly assigned for screen readers. In progress
ARIA markup An incorrect ARIA reference means that assistive technologies cannot interpret some elements correctly. In progress
Zoom On mobile devices, zooming into the website is currently restricted. In progress

6. Ongoing improvements

We are working through the points above in order of priority.

We plan to complete the main changes by 31 December 2026.

For future relaunches, new features and new content, we take accessibility into account from the start.

7. Accessibility feedback

Found a barrier on our website? Let us know. To help us fix it quickly, please tell us:

  • the page concerned (URL)
  • a short description of the barrier
  • your device, your browser and, if applicable, your assistive technology (e.g. screen reader)
